Boredom
Boredom is a weird thing. Before quarantine I could never say that I was really fully bored, but I think I can now. The reason I was never bored before was because when I wasn’t doing all the homework that I needed to do I was rushing off to a sports practice, playing Xbox or doing other things like that. But now during quarantine the days feel so much longer, there is more time to do things with less things to do.
Before all this started my school days would be filled with going to school, seeing friends, playing sports and doing other things outside my house. Now my school days are filled with my eyes bulging out of my head after staring at a screen for a very long time and then probably playing Xbox afterwords once I finish my homework. On the weekends I would be sleeping in(if I could) and probably have a hockey game to play or something and maybe go somewhere fun. Then on Sundays I would play lacrosse in the morning, do homework, watch football, play Xbox and sleep. Now on my weekends during quarantine I sleep in as late as I can knowing there is nothing exciting to wake up for, and play video games and exercise. Then on Sunday I sleep in as late as I can, do homework, and watch something on Tv because there are no more live sports, and then the schedule repeats.
All I can hope is that this ends soon so the fun times will come back.
I think we are all hoping for the same thing as there's only so many things we can do to fill up our days. I'm glad that writing is one of them :-)I think we are all hoping for the same thing as there's only so many things we can do to fill up our days. I'm glad that writing is one of them :-)

I liked the part where you said “my eyes bulging out of my head after staring at a screen.” It fit pretty well, and added to the piece nicely.

It’s kind of funny to think about how we’ve never actually been this bored in our whole entire lifetime, where we have to stay inside the whole entire day. Nice job
