A closer look
In every walk in with nature one receives far more than he seeks. John Muir
Sun is shining over the green grass across land. Patches of flowers and sticks all around me. I start to run and prepare myself for a interesting run. I turn right on the grassy fields, some blades of grass high some low. Now as I get further into the conservation land the grass is less greener but the sun is shining brighter. I see a plant with green leaves, then I take a closer looks and I see that the left side is brighter than the right just by taking a closer look.
I have been trying to run a lot recently but if I can’t then I just get outside, shoot some lacrosse balls and come inside. I usually run in the conservation land which is right outside my house and is a public land that most of my neighbors use. So I laced up my shoes and headed out on my run that I was going to use as the English assignment that I had to do.
Once I headed of on my run I tried to observe the things around me this time, because I used to not do that before. On everything that I saw I tried taking a closer look at my surroundings, when I looked a tree the first time all I saw was just a plain old tree but when I took a closer look I saw that there were lots of more leafs on one side than the other. When I was running past my neighbors house at first it looked the same, but when I took a closer look I saw that they hadn’t took their Christmas reef of yet. When I ran into a spot with yellow flowers I noticed all the bees around it were all near 3 flowers while the others flowers had no bees hovering over them. I saw all of this just by taking a closer look at the surroundings around us especially nature.
I didn’t realize before what happens if you just take a closer look at your surroundings and the big difference it makes. If I didn’t take a loser look at the nature and surrounding around me I wouldn’t of noticed the things that I noticed.
Next time you go for a run I would highly encourage to take a closer look at your surroundings and it will make a difference.
I had a very similar writing piece too this, so I can really relate to this piece. Nice job

I can very much agree that we need to take a closer look at our surroundings and cherish that nature that is around us. And I like how you said I saw all of this just by taking a closer look at the surroundings around us especially nature. This is a great sentence! Good job Chad.

I liked how you started off by writing from your point of view as you begin to run. I also liked your conclusion.
