The true competitors, though, are the ones who always play to win

~Tom Brady

Earlier this morning Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL in an instagram post thanking the Bucs. His 22 amazing seasons consisted of 7 Super Bowl wins, 3 MVP awards and many other amazing moments throughout his career. One of these specific moments took place on February 5 2017.

Brady led the Patriots to the one seed in the AFC with a 14-2 record. They beat the Texans and Steelers in the playoffs before making it to the Super Bowl in Texas . Brady and his go to man Edelman would have to face Matt Ryan and star wide receiver Julio Jones.

The game started off rocky for the Patriots with the falcons scoring 2 touchdowns early in the second quarter followed by a Brady pick six that gave the Falcons a three score lead. The Pats came down the field to score a field goal as time expired at the half.

With the third quarter starting the pats were looking to turn the game around but instead they let Atlanta score another touchdown making it 28-3. At the very end of the quarter Tom Brady threw a touchdown pass to running back James White. Early in the fourth quarter Steven Gostkowski made a field goal to cut the deficit to 16. Tom Brady led the charge down field to score two touchdowns late in the fourth quarter to tie the game with a minute left. With the coin toss won Tom Brady led the Patriots down the field for a game winning touchdown that gave Brady his 5th Super Bowl ring.

This event that took place might have been the best Super Bowl in history because of the insane comeback led by the best player to ever play the game Tom Brady. I wish the GOAT the best of luck in retirement. TB12 Forever!!!
