The Place I Go
03/09/2020
Perfection’s Playground
The place I go defies all logic
Though for every action there is a reaction
From my lack of fatigue to my constant speeds
The laws are limitless though the reality is finite
You are free to explore, but only in its bounds.
With slight movements, I trigger ones that transcend mine
Reality is swayed, but I am in control
I fly to the sky with the shrug of my thumb
I marvel about my structures, but you see irrelevant shapes
When I see a whole world, you see is just a game.
The place I go is shrouded in deception
Stereotypes and public misconceptions
Placed by those who have never been
Though heaven’s doors lie within
And I have died, and made it in
With many entrances, there is no end
Only fun can dictate its bitter end
For when night falls, and it’s time for bed,
do I take a break at length
It is that peace I am after, and it comes with fulfillment too.
This is the place I Go.
