There’s Reasoning Behind Chores
There’s probably a reason why we do chores
You get what you work for, not what you wish for~Howard A. Tillman
Do the work and then see what you produced. When you put in work at something you will see a good difference on what you did. in life you will always have to do work, but it depends if you really try at that work or if you are just doing it to get it done. If you do it to get it done then you won’t be happy about your work, but if you do it to achieve something and work hard at it, you will be happy with what you have done.
It’s a hot Saturday afternoon during the spring and my family and I are going to do some yard work. My brothers and I are all not fans of chores, but especially yard work.
I wake up to the warm sun piercing through my eye lids as I here my family eating some breakfast. It smelt very good, so I went downstairs and had some. After breakfast my dad told me and my brothers that it was a chore day we all sighed in sadness and excepted the fact that there was no way out of it. Later that day my dad grouped us all together and said that we are going to get some yard work done. We went out there got the rakes and started scraping at the dead grass and leaves. As I’m scraping at the lawn I feel the sun burning my body as if I was meat on a fryer. After about 40 minutes of hard work it was about to be complete, we used a wheelbarrow to bring the leaves over to the woods and we were done... (I just got back from the chore I was asked to do, where was I? Oh right). Once we were done I headed inside, but the next day I looked out on the lawn and noticed that the lawn looked very good. I was Actually happy with the work I did.
Some chores that you do may not be visible, so you think that they are useless, but in reality that chore that you did has probably helped you since you’ve done it. Just know that the work you do will always benefit you whether you notice it or not. There is probably a reason why our parents ask us to do a lot of chores and it is probs my because they are very helpful.
The next time someone asks you to do a chore, go out and do it.
This piece made me think of chores differently, and why they actually make a difference. Great job on this piece and posting it before everyone else.

Really good choice for a chore, that sounds pretty boring and bad especially with the sun blazing all over your body. I really liked how you closed it out too because if someone asks you to do something you should just do it.

Really nice job on this, I can sort of relate to this because I had a similar experience with a chore, also I liked the way you ended it when you said if someone asks you to do something go and do it. Nice job.

I drag my boys into the backyard today to do a bunch of chores otherwise known as spring cleaning. They weren't too happy at the start, but soon they were laughing while working, kicking stray soccer balls and ultimately the work was finished, and they went back inside to play their games, and hopefully no enduring harm was done to them :-) I really love this piece. Great job on this assignment.
