Iyour going to do something, do it well. During this reading I had to really work on it and not just try to speed through it. reading the short story through the tunnel I learned that actually understanding a reading and annotating it well is better than just reading it to get it over with. This assignment made me be more engaged in my reading even though I though a lot of times I thought it was boring.

As we started to read the story through the tunnel I knew I had to pay close attention to the reading and annotate as much as possible. After my partner and I had read for about a quarter of the book we had annotated very well and gotten most of our themes, phrases and words. Once we got to about half way through the story, we became very bored of it because it seemed very repetitive and not very interesting. Even though we were bored, we both persevered through it and annotated well because we knew that it would help us in the end. After we were done reading the design reading plan was a piece of cake because we did the assignment well.

Usually in life, when I’m bored I don't try then I quit and I don’t do a good job on the assignment, but this time I learned that in the end it pays of to do something well. I can use this more in my life to do things well and know that I  am getting something good out of it.

In life if your going to do something, do it well is a great motto to live by because you will achieve a lot of success then just doing something to get it done. If you do something to get it done then it will just be a waste of time because your getting nothing out of it. Overall, this reading has helped me to take on more challenging things because of what I have learned from it.
