Live as if you were to die tommorow, learn as if you were to live forever

- Gandhi

I walked into class and Fitz was playing the guitar. I put my iPad on the table then I picked a guitar up off the rack. He looked at me and he shook his head and told me to put it down because he was practicing a song that he had to play and sing for a wedding in a couple days. He said that he had only learned it yesterday and he needed it on Sunday.

The rest of the class came in and we all sat down around the big round table that Fitz had in his room. We sat down and he told us to be quiet because he had a story to tell about his finger. So we stopped talking and he started. He told us that he was snow-blowing and he had to reach in the snowblower to get something out. Then he felt something wrong. So he stopped snow-blowing and he went home into the kitchen. He told his wife that he needed to go to the hospital. His wife was like okay because she was used to this. So he drove to the hospital and then he waited for 3 hours to get into the room. Then he got into the room and he waited 1 hour just to see the hurse. When the nurse got there she asked him where his finger was, he said he didn’t know but then he remembered that he was wearing a glove. He called his son E.J. to asked him to look in his glove for his finger. E.J. looked in his fathers glove and found nothing. E.J. Told his dad that there was nothing and didn’t ask any questions.

This shows one of the things that happen in our class and how Fitz has so many story’s about things that happened in his life.

When I First Got My Dog

Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

- Roger Caras

I have a lot of experience in many kinds of ways when it comes to dogs. My dog showed me all the things that she can do. Weather its barking, running through screen doors, or even sniffing literally everything.

Be strong, because things will get better. It may be stormy now, but it never rains forever.

It was a very humid day. It had rained the night before. The ground was as wet as your tongue. I was down at the water front during free time. The mud near the railing where we put out towels was so moist. I was sinking into it. My flip-flops were as dirty as a rats hair. I almost couldn’t escape it. Then, the rain started to fall from the sky. Wet drops of water piercing my skin as it hit me. It hurt like a elephant falling on top of me. It stung like a bee. I wanted to run inside to the nice warm sauna that they had, but I saw my friends having so much fun in the water even though it was raining.

If you Can’t Explain It Simply, You Don’t Understand It Well Enough

- Albert Einstein

Fenn is an amazing place. But there is one thing that makes FEnn a special place. And this thing are what makes it a special place. I think that the teachers are what make Fenn an amazing school.

“Be Strong

It may be stormy, but it never rains forever.”

Last year I was in the seventh grade. As a middle school sport, I decided to do middle school soccer. On the first day, I jogged out to practice. I had a fun time but it wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be. So, I asked Mr. Morrison if there was any days left for the junior varsity soccer team tryouts. He said “sure, why don’t you come tomorrow to tryout.” I said okay. After the first ten minutes of tryouts, I noticed this burning pain in my ankle. I sat down for a couple of minutes, I tied my shoelaces a little looser and went back out on the field. I couldn’t run. I just... couldn’t. So for the rest of the practice I tried my best. I went back the next day and they said that I didn’t make the JV team but I could play on the thirds team. I was disappointed but I understood.

A Fun Summer

What My Summer Brought To Me

”I Would Really Rather Feel Bad In Maine Than Feel Good Anywhere Else”

-E.B. White

This summer I went to a sleepaway camp in Holderness, New Hampshire called Camp Deerwood. At this camp there were many activities. There was sailing, water-skiing, archery, tennis, woodshop, and many more. My favorite activity was sailing, I would go sailing every single day. They had many different types of sailboats. They had many sunfishes, they had a Hobie Cat (a catamaran), they had a very small catamaran. I would sail on the small catamaran. I loved heeling so much that one of the pontoons would come out of the water. I flipped a couple of times but it was easy to unflip.
