What Goes On In English Class?
Live as if you were to die tommorow, learn as if you were to live forever
- Gandhi
I walked into class and Fitz was playing the guitar. I put my iPad on the table then I picked a guitar up off the rack. He looked at me and he shook his head and told me to put it down because he was practicing a song that he had to play and sing for a wedding in a couple days. He said that he had only learned it yesterday and he needed it on Sunday.
The rest of the class came in and we all sat down around the big round table that Fitz had in his room. We sat down and he told us to be quiet because he had a story to tell about his finger. So we stopped talking and he started. He told us that he was snow-blowing and he had to reach in the snowblower to get something out. Then he felt something wrong. So he stopped snow-blowing and he went home into the kitchen. He told his wife that he needed to go to the hospital. His wife was like okay because she was used to this. So he drove to the hospital and then he waited for 3 hours to get into the room. Then he got into the room and he waited 1 hour just to see the hurse. When the nurse got there she asked him where his finger was, he said he didn’t know but then he remembered that he was wearing a glove. He called his son E.J. to asked him to look in his glove for his finger. E.J. looked in his fathers glove and found nothing. E.J. Told his dad that there was nothing and didn’t ask any questions.
This shows one of the things that happen in our class and how Fitz has so many story’s about things that happened in his life.
