Parents are mostly always right. Whatever they say, you should listen too because they have more experience than you. They know what its like to forget something and be miserable because you forgot it. They know what its like to decide not to bring a rain jacket to school when it might rain, and then it does and you don't have one.

This morning was my second time doing town hockey. It was my second because when I was about six years old I did a learn to skate program but that doesn’t really count. So this morning I got out of bed so excited for hockey. I got dressed and had some breakfast. Then I got all of my hockey stuff ready. My mom insisted that I bring a water bottle. I told her that their was a water fountain at the rink. She still told me that I would want a water. I left without water. I got to the rink and started skating. By the end of the hour that I was their, I was so thirsty. I took off my helmet and went to look for a water fountain but I couldn’t find one. I asked an employee and he said that their wasn’t one at the rink. I was so thirsty but I didn’t have any water. I took all of my pads off and as I was putting them in my bag I saw a water bottle. My mom had snuck it in the bag and left a note that said “parents will always be right”. I laughed and drank some water. Then when I got home, I gave my mom a huge hug. Parents are always right
