When I got home from school one day, my mom came out to the bus and walked me inside and then gave me a big hug. She told me what happned and I wasn’t that sad because I hadn’t know him that much. I gave her a big hug and begin helping her through her hard times. We went to his funeral a couple weeks later. It was really sad and both of my parents started to tear up. I was sitting next to my mom with my arm around her shoulder for the whole ceremony. His wife and his best friend talked about how he loved the outdoors and how nice of a person he was. They also mentioned som silly things about him just to cheer themselves up and cheer ip the crowd. After the ceremony, we all went to a country club where the reception was held. There was a very nice lunch served. My parents spent a long time talking to people about him. My mom gave his wife a huge hug and they started mentioning things about him that were silly. They started to feel better but I knew that my mom would still be really sad. We got home and my mom went straight to bed. I laid in bed with her for a little and we both fell asleep. Then she woke me up to take me to bed and she thanked me for helping her through her tough times. This story shows how people can have tough times. It also shows how other people can help them through it and maybe they cant stop being sad, but they can feel better knowing that others are there to help them through it.
