The most important time of the day
Some people dream of success in the morning, and other go out and make it happen- Wayne Huizenga
Do you know how people say the ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day?’ I think this concept applies to events in a day. The beginning of a day can outline how the rest of your day progresses.
In the long school day that Fenn provides there are many opportunities for significance. They can range from recess to classes to study hall to sports. Every moment during school can possess some meaning or significance in a student’s school life. But, which is the most important. Advisory. Advisory gives me the most importance out of the entire day. It feels this way because it gives you a chance to start the day right.
Advisory also gives you a chance to hang out with people in your group, and possibly talk about work you had the past night. This in its own right is very important because if you didn’t understand a concept or an idea that the teacher wants you to learn, you could try and learn from someone in your advisory. In my opinion I don’t think Fenn offers many social times during the day, so that makes advisory that much more important.
You can do a vast majority of things with your advisor group and get to know them better. You could also have weekly events with your advisory. All of this makes for advisory to be the best 10-15 minutes at Fenn.
