Family
Family is not an important thing; it is everything- Micheal J. Fox
Family is like a safety net, they are always there to catch you when you fall. They will encourage me to fly, but if I fall they’ll catch me. I was in my basement with the test that would decide my grade for the term, but there was a new game that had just come out on my PlayStation that I had been waiting for since the summer. Guess what I chose to do.
I could do a boring test about a subject that I hate, or play a game that I was really excited for. I chose to play the game. Of course I thought that the test would be okay (not great, but good enough). That test was in the 60’s, and me being smart I decided to not tell my parents that I got a 68 on the test I had two weeks to take. My report card came in with glaring C-. That conversation included a lot of shouting. The next day though, everything was sort of back to normal and I kept going through the motions of the school year. Later in the year I got another bad grade, but I told my mom, and she was actually more pleasant than I expected. It still wasn’t great, but it was much better than what I was prepared for. Later in the year I got another bad grade, but I told my mom, and she was actually more pleasant than I expected. I t still wasn’t great, but it was much better than what I was prepared for. At this moment I was thinking “What happened to the person that I encountered a few months ago. I mean that was a ton easier than I thought.” I actually thought she might ground me or something, but no she just was like “Ugh... well do better on the CHP.” So if you ever do something wrong just tell your parents before they find out, because telling them first is much more pleasant than waiting until they find out.
