“Friendship is one of the sweetest joys of life”

-Charles Spurgeon

Friends are people who scan make you laugh. I learned that friends can help you laugh. In a great day, my friend and I bounced on a trampoline. Later that day we thought it was a good idea to bounce each other in a plastic bucket filled with water. Kal and I had a sleepover and the next day was awesome. First his dad made us chocolate pancakes for breakfast. After that we went outside and tried a water slide. We then used the hose to fill up a bucket to bounce on a trampoline with.

As we started filling up the bucket we knew it was a bad idea. We were going to have fun so it canceled each other out. We were on the trampoline and when the bucket was filled I started the jumping. At this point I was having a bad time and realized the importance of friends and laughing. I am now more happy then I ever was and try to make other people’s lives better. I think we should all try that. Everyone should try to laugh with a friend sometimes.

Literally reflection

If you give your all at something you will succeed. Through the tunnel taught me that if you want something, you have to give it your all. Reading through the tunnel challenged me to work harder in my daily life. I am now more engaged in what I’m reading and not just trying to finish it on time. I now have emotions like fear when something is happening in the book that is bad. I thought that this book would be exiting which is a first. I learned that books can be fun sometimes but you have to find the right ones. I can now highlight more words and phrases. I can now pick out words that i can use in a sentence and words that challenge me to work harder. I fell better when we have this sort of assignment because i believe in myself and believe that i can work and come out with the grade i believe i deserve. I learned that reading could be fun. I figured out how to right a compelling sentence. I am now confident that i know how to pick out words, phrases, and themes in a book. I would normally have to ask for help with these assignments and get help picking out information. I will always have a resentment of books, that’s just how i am. I am now though, feeling better about books and reading more than i would have earlier in the year. Reading through the tunnel made me think that books weren’t as bad as i thought they were.

Literary Reflection Paragraph

Nothing in life will happen without hard work. The Gift Of The Magi taught me to read more and to highlight better. Reading The Gift Of The Magj challenged me to read carefully. It forced me to highlight what i should highlight not what i have to highlight. I started reading The Gift Of The Magi to just finish it and not care what grade I got. I highlighted vocabulary and read the story. I then realized that i needed to give a damn and read it again highlighted all the words i didn’t know, highlighted the phrases, quotes, and was done. I learned that even if you don’t want to do something you have to push through and finish hard. It’s like in football when we run wind sprints, I don’t like them but I push myself so I can have better stamina for games. Last year you would have heard me complaining then not fully finishing the assignment. Now I will go through and finish hard and know I worked hard on it.

Power of place paragraph

   Power of Place

People need to relax every once and a while and for me there is a certain place.

Everyone has a place that they can go and relax and be at home. I love nature and would love to go to Alaska as much as possible. While in Alaska on a bus I found the place I wanted to live. We rode in Denali national park on a bus to see the wild life and see the mountains. My family and I were in Alaska searching for something. That something was brown bears eating trout in a creek. We were on vacation we had just gotten there and had booked a bus ride in Denali national park. I now hate spaces where I’m next to a window and there are other people in the place because of this moment. I am however grateful for this moment as I got to spot a grizzly bear out in the open with just my eyes alone. I have a great experience with Alaska and I got to meet some great people. You should get out more enjoy the things of today and not the worries of tomorrow.

How different people got through a bad situation.

”Climb mountains not so the world can see you but so you can see the world.”

-David mccollough jr

Families can help get people through tough times. It was at this moment that my family and I were at the mercy of the mountain. When we were at our breaking point we came together and fought through to get home. When I, my mom, dad, sister, and grandfather were hiking a mountain in Colorado my father thought that there would be a shortcut if we went to the left on top of the mountain. Clearly this was not a good idea. As my family fought through shrubbery, thorns, and barbed wire fencing. People began to fell uneasy. But as people were getting scared my father somehow stayed determined to stay on corse. We started to see less trees and more fields of wheat and grass. This startled us and thoughts kept into our mind about where we had gone and where we were now. My Grandfather made jokes and my dad kept trucking on. Even my father started to turn us around to go back the way we came. I didn’t know where we were. I didn’t know how long we’d been walking. On this beautiful, rocky mountain In Colorado I didn’t know if the fields we saw were in Arizona or New Mexico. In summery. My dad thought there was a shortcut to my grandparents house. We probably went through some private property and then turned around and came all the way back the way we came. I did learn a lot from that experience. As long as my family is here we will always carry on.
