The power of I

Writing Piece The Poem Of Reckoning

Through the days of reckoning

My thought had swirled

Into my conscious of this world

In many days I felt the sorrow

But I knew that there would always be tomorrow.

Stuck in my house for the rest of days

I could not eat or look for glaze

This would be my final message

As it was the days of reckoning.

It is not easy to write poetry like this, but you do so with direct candor and poignant thoughts that leaves the reader thinking. You never close the door; you open it…

Will Hatten

The rhyme makes this poem flow so good, really good piece.

Michael Malone

Perfectly written Throughout the poem, the person is looking for some kind of relief from the despair that is their life.
