Poem #3
03/30/2019
Waves Hitting the Beach
My feet sinking into the sand,
Water washing over my feat,
And the rocky surface I’m walking on,
The searing sun hitting my skin,
My head sinking under the salty ocean,
The sandy bottom that I feel weightless on,
And the muffled sound of people talking above water.
I decided to write a shorter poem describing a beach that I have been to before. I love being near the water so I decided to write about the water. I love everything about the beach and wanted to write what the beach was like for me. I felt that this poem was better short and sweet.
