A literary analysis of boyhood in Tom Sawyer

     You will never be a man without being a boy.In the book, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain,  boyhood and rebellion fuels the fire for Tom’s adventures. Boyhood has played a key role in Toms life, one example of this was in chapter seven. Tom overcomes a key part of boyhood, Tom had his first kiss like many boys will in adolescence. This was one of the first steps of becoming a man. Tom has always been the rebellious type of person. In chapter seven Tom has his first kiss, with Becky. The classroom was silent and the mood was calm.

A Reflection on chapters 5-10 of The Advetures Of Tom Sawyer

In the book The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain, in chapters 5-10 In these past chapters the book has been very interesting and intriguing. I really like all the descriptive words they use, all the similes, all the metaphors and all the details that are used. One of the coolest parts about this book is that it was written in 1875 so there are lots of different phrases and words that people wouldn’t use nowadays. Since there are lots of old time phrases and words it can make the book really confusing at times.
